Uh, okay, so here is the old desk.
All cleaned out cleaned off.
Everything has been moved, and we are ready to move it out of here.
So I'm going to take the desk out of here.
I'm gonna take the mat out of here.
Take the chair gonna vacuum and mop this little area and then we're gonna go ahead and get started with assembling the new desk in case.
Anyone was wondering how I was going to move this desk by myself furniture, sliders, see I have one underneath and got some back there more here, here's, the pack 16 pack of furniture sliders.
It has sliders for hardwood floors, the ones on the bottom of the pack are for carpet.
So, yes, if you are moving furniture alone, these are essential all right so here's the corner, here's the corner where the new desk is going to go.
So here are the instructions for the desk.
They show that you can put it together, three different ways.
The first two options are the l shape desk with the shelves on different sides as you can see.
And then the third option is the long disc straight across.
So I think I'm gonna go with option b here.
And you see once you open the instructions, they give you dimensions for the desk.
They give you a parts list accessories.
And then here at the bottom, they tell you to, um follow the instructions for the configuration that you want if you want a b or c, then you follow that so I'm going to go with b.
So we are going to flip to the page for style, b, b, style, installation method, another picture of it and show you the steps to get started.
So we are going to go ahead, I'm going to go ahead and get my toolbox.
Get my drill, get my power screwdriver.
And then get started.
Okay.
So these aren't, the world's clearest pictures, but basically it's showing here.
You take the little legs.
We start the legs and then it's showing that you screw this bottom part into the legs.
Now, these little boxes here are eyes that box there that box there that's the eye.
And if you go back to the parts list, you see next to the leg screws, there's, a letter.
I so that's, what we're doing? Uh, uh, uh.
Okay.
So now we're moving on to step two, hi margaret it's, love I'm, sorry, to be able to make this news.
But step two is when we're putting the bottom shelves on these legs so I'm going to go grab those and then we're going to use the b screws to screw them in now, the instructions don't make it all that clear, what are the b screws? But it shows there are 29 of them.
And this is the screw babe that has the most groups.
So this is big, uh, two me, 3., uh, uh, uh, uh.
Okay.
So we are on step three where we stand the shelf parts up.
And we put in these crossbars here I did have to go back and switch these out.
I had the same ones.
So these two are the same thing.
Okay, these two are the same.
The outside bars are the same.
And the inside bars are the same.
And when I did it before I had both of the same on each side, so I had to go back and switch those.
So now you have outside outside the same.
The two inside bars are the same, which is what you want.
So on step three, uh, three, two, um, two, uh, three, um, uh, um, uh.
So so so okay.
So in this next step, we have dnh here are the d, screws, here's h, little caps that going in and we're going to screw on these little cross body things so let's get to that.
So, okay, so I have the first piece on you take the screw the thing.
Then you come through the hole on this other side.
And then you have this little screw cap on.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to film myself doing it and show you all while I'm doing it.
But yeah, that is what it looks like.
So we got more to go.
So we have run into an issue.
Basically, this bar is all wrong.
I'm not taking responsibility for this, because I follow the instructions and where the holes are supposed to be.
But this bar has this is where these go my camera's acting up.
And these are supposed to screw into this like that, but the holes are on the other side.
So I need to flip this bar around again.
I followed the instructions.
So I think this step is just wrong for the instructions, but any event it doesn't matter who got it wrong.
It needs to be fixed.
So I'm gonna go and do that.
Okay.
So now that I've fixed that I can do step six.
So I take these brackets.
There are two of them.
Take the a screws there are two of them and screw them in to these two holes here.
So yeah, let's do it.
So so this.
Okay, so now I'm under the desk.
And basically I need to get the holes lined up and to screw it into the middle part.
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to film that so I'll just be not quite sure how I'm gonna show y'all when that's done, but yeah, so that's.
The next step all right, so we got those two pieces all put down.
Now we gotta put on the final tabletop that brings us to step eight eight here.
We put on piece number one, we screw it down, just like the other two.
We need the b screws.
And the f screws step nine is the last step we'll, be screwing, the the shelves, but we are almost done so so so so so here is the finished product.
I am not done putting everything on it yet, but that will come later.
So here's the finished product.
I have it staged just so you can see what it looks like.
So let me start with the pig stuff.
I have my monitor keyboard mouse have my macbook there.
I have my snowball mic my pencil holder cups.
And then over here, I have a letter tray here.
We have our chair got our mat down there.
So yes, you pull out the chair.
You see the bottom here I have my printer, my document scanner that shelf, I'm, not quite sure I'm going to organize it yet.
And then I have those two shelves there.
I have my surge protector down there.
So yes, this is the finished.
So the board here it comes with the screws and anchors to screw it into the wall, but I wasn't quite sure where I wanted to put it.
So I use these hooks here to just hang it here on the wall.
And then I have these magnets that I had with my old desk, just to give myself a little place to hang things.
So yes, that is it.
That is the tour and push the chair back in one more view of what it looks like.
Yes, it is taking up a lot of space in here.
But you have to work with the space that you have.
